Kahala Hotel & Resort, Hawaii - a 5 star resort

Kahala Hotel & Resort

It is so many options on wheelchair accessible hotels at Hawaii, so here is a new review of a 5 star resort. The location is great, and you have the opportunity when you get tired of the beach you can drive in eight minutes and then you are at the zoo. You are also close to Waikiki beach and Kahala mall if you like to go shopping.

The rooms have plenty of space with private bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers.  The bathrooms are completely accessible with roll-in shower and grab bars in the shower and the toilet. You have access to free bottle water and of course free internet at the room all the time. There are LCD televisions, refrigerators and a desk if you need to do some work.

Kahala Hotel & Resort currently does not have wheelchair-friendly beach mats, or accessible docks/swimming rigs that allow for safe entry and swimming in the open water.

The resort has great access to the pool with a lift and then you can go for a swim to the poolside bar. They offer also Wheelchair-accessible on-site restaurant, picnic area, wheelchair-accessible lounge, wheelchair-accessible path to elevator, multilingual staff, wheelchair-accessible registration desk. The wheelchair-accessible spa offers you facials, massages and body treatments. You can take advantage of recreational amenities like outdoor pool, spa tub and the sauna. There are plenty of other accessible places at the hotel and nearby but I have to mention the fitness center is of course accessible if you like to exercise.

Dining Enjoy Italian cuisine at Arancino at the Kahala, one of the resort's 5 restaurants, or stay in and take advantage of the 24-hour room service. Relax with a refreshing drink from the poolside bar or one of the 2 bars/lounges. Buffet breakfasts are served on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on weekends from 6:30 AM to noon for a fee.
